Hello.
I think, some things are meant to be unsaid. I'm writing back at my livejournal. So perhaps, this blog will cease to non-existence. Just like how my blogspot is. The main reason for shifting of space: I don't know who is reading this. And besides, most of my entries are personal info about me. Therefore, I do not want just anyone to read about my life. Maybe not now. Maybe a few months later.
But for now...I'm back again at http://sheefeeqa.livejournal.com
To those who are in my friends list, you can see my locked posts. To those who aren't, just too bad (:
Its 80% locked and especially for friends only. Its about time that I reach to them and let them know that I am, after all one of the damsel in distress.
Love, love.

I think I should stop being dependent on my boyfriend. Because if things were to happen in future, I would want to stand up on my own two feet and not cry. Its going to be hard, but we all have to learn. Won't we? :(
12 hours more and my Regional Cinema thesis paper is due :( I have not even start a thing but just a preview of my thesis that I submitted to my lecturer a few months ago.
Regional Cinema Thesis Paper
Zhang Yimou and the rest of the other 5th Generation filmmakers succeed more than the 6th Generation filmmakers. Given their recognition and international attention world wide, why are they still restrictions for the filmmakers to gain expressions in their film?
Zhang Yimou and the Fifth Generation filmmakers have brought a new energy to Chinese cinema that is recognized by film critics around the world. Most of the filmmakers have won numerous awards that brought China cinema to a higher level. Not only are the films of Fifth Generation filmmakers are bold, rebellious and challenge the traditions of people in China, but also commercialized their films because of the economy. In doing so, they broadened the scope of the films.
However much of the international attention that has given to the Fifth Generation, there are still restrictions regarding making a film. We have yet to see the official government's assessment of China's new cinema artists. Since China has a rich history and still a communist country, most of the films by the Fifth Generation are leaning towards the historical context (Mao Zedong and the red book and also censorship in China). If ever, the ban or rule is lifted; this new generation of film artists will have a long struggle to gain freedom of expression in their native land.
Why in the blue hell do I choose something sooooooooo big :(
Got to keep my focus.
Later later, alligator!
